Privacy and Cookie Policy

Effective October 23, 2026. This page explains what Vreeland Real Estate LLC ("Vreeland Real Estate," "we," "us") collects on vreelandre.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It has two parts: the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Questions? Email support@vreelandre.com or call (813) 945-4826.

Part 1: Privacy Policy

What we collect

What you tell us. When you fill out a form, ask for a guide, request a home value opinion or message us, we collect what you type in. That can include your name, email, phone number, the area or home you're asking about, a property address, your price range or must-haves, how you heard about us, and any message you leave.

Chat messages. If you use the chat bubble on our site, we receive the messages you type there.

What your browser sends automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic visit details: the pages you view, the page or ad that brought you here, your device and browser type, and your rough location based on your IP address. If you arrive from an ad, the web address can carry tracking tags (like utm_source) and an ad click ID from Google or ChatGPT. We save those with your form so we know which ad led to your request. If you call us from one of our Google ads, Google may show a call-forwarding number so we can tell the call came from an ad; Google then shares the call's date, time, length and the caller's area code with us. The Cookie Policy below covers the tools that collect this.

We don't ask for and don't want sensitive details like Social Security numbers or bank account numbers through this website.

How we use it

  • To answer you and match you with a local Vreeland Real Estate agent.
  • To send what you asked for, like a guide, a pricing opinion or an area comparison.
  • To call, text or email you about your request, when you've agreed to that (see Text messages below).
  • To run the website, fix problems and keep out spam and bots.
  • To see which pages and ads are working, so we spend our marketing budget on what helps people.
  • To keep the records Florida law requires of a licensed real estate brokerage.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number and agree on one of our forms, Vreeland Real Estate may call and text you about your request, including automated, prerecorded and AI-powered messages. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase or sale. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. The service providers that send our texts for us are the only exception, and they can use it for that purpose only.

How we use AI

The chat bubble on our site is an automated AI assistant, not a person, and it can get things wrong. Some of our follow-up texts are AI-powered too, as the consent on our forms explains. Content on this website, including articles, page copy, images and graphics, may have been created or edited with the help of AI tools. It's general information, not legal or tax advice, and any resemblance to someone else's work is unintentional. Prices, rules and neighborhood details change, so check anything important with a Vreeland Real Estate agent.

Who we share it with

  • Our agents and staff, so the right person can help you.
  • Companies that run our tools for us. This includes our customer database, website hosting and forms, email, text and phone tools, our chat widget, and the analytics and advertising tools listed in the Cookie Policy. They may only use your information to do that work for us.
  • Partners you ask to meet. If you ask us to introduce you to another service provider for your move, like a title company or a home inspector, we'll share what they need to help you. Some of these companies are affiliated with Vreeland Real Estate. Our Affiliated Business Disclosure lists them. We only make these introductions when you ask, and you're never required to use any of them.
  • The other parties in your sale or purchase, once you're our client, like the other agent and the closing team, as needed to complete it.
  • When the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or if our business is sold or merged.

We don't sell your personal information for money. We do use Google and OpenAI (ChatGPT) advertising tools that collect details about your visit to measure our ads. Some state laws call that "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can turn it off at any time. See Your choices.

Your choices

  • Texts: reply STOP. Emails: use the unsubscribe link. Calls: tell us and we'll stop.
  • Analytics and ad cookies: click Your Privacy Choices (also in the footer of most pages) and choose Decline. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a decline automatically.
  • See, correct or delete your information: email support@vreelandre.com. We'll confirm it's really you, then respond within 45 days. If you're a past client, Florida law requires us to keep some transaction records, so we may not be able to delete those.

We won't treat you differently for using any of these choices.

California residents

If you live in California, you can ask what personal information we've collected about you, get a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of "sharing" for advertising. Here's what we've collected in the past 12 months:

  • Identifiers and contact details (name, email, phone, a property address). Where from: you, or sites like Google Local Services or Yelp when you contact us through them. Why: to answer you and help with your move. Who sees it: our agents, the companies that run our tools, and partners you ask to meet.
  • Internet activity and rough location (pages viewed, ad clicks, device, location based on IP address). Where from: your browser and the tools in our Cookie Policy. Why: to run the site and measure our ads. Who sees it: Google and OpenAI, which can count as "sharing."
  • What you write to us (form answers, messages, chat). Where from: you. Why: to help you.

We don't sell personal information. We don't collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we don't knowingly sell or share information about anyone under 16. We don't offer financial incentives for your information. To opt out of sharing, use Your Privacy Choices or turn on Global Privacy Control. For any other request, email support@vreelandre.com or call (813) 945-4826. You can use an authorized agent; we'll ask for your signed permission and may confirm your identity with you directly. We respond within 45 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details and request history while we're helping you, or while you're open to hearing from us. Florida law requires real estate brokers to keep transaction records for at least five years, so client records are kept at least that long. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

How we protect it

We use secure (HTTPS) connections, limit who can see your information, and use trusted service providers. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If something does, we'll tell you when the law requires it.

Children

This website is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Other websites

Some pages you can reach from our site are run by outside companies and have their own privacy notices. That includes our home search pages (like tampabay.vreelandre.com), online scheduling, review sites and social media. Please read their policies too.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.

Part 2: Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar tools, like tracking pixels and browser storage, do the same kind of job. We call all of them "cookies" here.

How our cookie notice works

  • Most visitors: analytics and ad measurement are on when the page loads. The notice at the bottom of the screen lets you decline.
  • California visitors, and any browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal: analytics and ad cookies stay off until you choose Allow.
  • We remember your choice for one year. Change it any time with Your Privacy Choices.

Other ways to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking every cookie may stop parts of the site, like forms or chat, from working. Browsers' older "Do Not Track" setting isn't handled the same way by every website, so we use the Global Privacy Control signal instead. You can also manage Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
