Why does a Florida buyer need a home inspection checklist?

Does the checklist tell me what to ask the seller to fix?

Is the checklist a substitute for an inspector?
No. It tells you what to watch and what to ask about. A licensed inspector's written report is the document your repair request and your lender rely on.
